23rd June 2008
Nothing much happen today because the Malam Berjaga-jaga is cancelled to respect and commemorate the 100 days of the departure of our beloved great grandmother. But I didn’t come for the tahlil because I don’t know why or to put it more boring-er I would say “don’t know why I didn’t come” haha, that’s pathetic. So I did a movie marathon and cleared up some parts of my room, and that’s it. Oh yeah, I’m the lunch chef too, don’t forget that, haha.
24th June 2008
Well, there a Malam Berjaga-jaga tonight, and I came, I was the assistant for passing up the lotto bingo papers and giving present and I wore my blue butterfly beaded t-shirt and it looks cute on me, of course and absolutely. So I assist the so-known as “ Chung “, well he’s the one who calls out the number that comes out from that cage thing. I’ll take a picture of it later for easy identification. Oh yeah, before that I went to school, for the Biology extra class and I brought my laptop and that’s where I go online. =P, so anyways, I miss my Nur Asnawi so much. By, I can’t wait to hug you. To all the girls, except my best friends, don’t try to steal Nur Asnawi from me, because he’s mine. =P
25th June 2008
You know, I’ve been asking why is it that I feel so peculiar these days, and I realised that it’s vD’s birthday and I forgot to greet him! Never mind, I’ll make it up to him later in the year or decade. And also my fallopian tube is contracting and the thick wall in my uterus is breaking down, it hurts so much, no wonder I have the back stabbing pain this few days, or in other words, I’m having my period. So anyways, do you guys have your countdowns already? Because I’ll be celebrating my 2nd month anniversary and it’s important. So please start your countdowns please. Haha. So I went to my aunt’s house a little late, I came at about 10p.m. So I didn’t get to be the assistant because I was so busy helping for preparations of tomorrow’s Malam Berbedak, but before that I actually made my baby cousin sleep, oh she’s so cute with her big eyes, cheeky grins. Her name is Amiratul and she’s 4 months old, she is so cute, like me, but I’m cuter. Haha. So anyways, after the preparations is done, my mom asked me to try on my baju kurung for tomorrow’s event, so I did, I went to my aunt’s room and I got changed and when I was ready to show my mom, the door knob is loosen and I can’t open it, I had to wait for half an hour till some one opens the door, huh. -_-“
26th June 2008
Well, tonight is the Malam Berbedak-bedak, it was so hectic, because it is held in the IGS College, Kiulap, so it’s going to the end of this hall to the end of that hall, it was tiring and I wore my highest sandal heels, so you know what I mean. I’ve put on a lot of make-ups and it was worth it, because I’m so photogenic and cute. =P So anyways, I helped my aunt with her hair stuff and crown thing. While waiting for some one to give us a signal to get up on the platform, the photographer took picture of the bride. The photographer actually teased my aunt into asking her to pose like those Calvin Klein models, haha. Because the head dress was very heavy and it minimise her movements and I actually helped the photographer tease her by showing her how her posture should look like when she has to pose like a model. Then, I asked my other aunts to be the ones to help giving out the souvenirs and I went up the stage with my sister because I’ll be the one who’ll spray the perfume to the guests who participates for the Berbedak-bedak thing. I know it’s a boring job but someone got to do it, and it is actually good for people to see how cute I am. =P the event went well; the food was not that great because some people actually didn’t even think of other people because there’s not enough food where the should have enough for everyone at each table, so I went to the other table and sat there and devour their beef soup, that’s the best, because it contains a LOT of fats. Haha. Anyways, after that all of the guests packed up and said goodbye, so I went back to the Tutors’ Common Room, that’s where the bride was beautified. I remembered something; you know that the brides are usually so white because of the tons of make-ups? Get this, this cousin of mine, Firdaus of 3-4 years old and he was so terrified seeing my aunt and keep hiding behind his nanny every time they went to the common room. It was so funny looking at the situation. It was said I was one of the topic discussions of our guests, well, why wouldn’t it? Haha, I guess it has been a long time I was introduced to our relatives that some of them wouldn’t know who I am.
27th June 2008
I was woken very early at 9am, and I am so tired and I had to go down to my aunt’s house and help with the Bedak-ing of my aunt and I had some of the Bedak too, and it smells good. So then my aunt asked do I want henna and I said yes, so she went to our next-door neighbours, an Indian family, to ask them to come for the Malam Berjaga-jaga and give me henna. Well, during the evening, I went back home for a while, then back here again. Tiring? I know. But then, the first thing I did when I get back here is eat Soto and those egg sandwiches. While I ate my dinner, I had to spoon fed my sister because she had her henna done and she had to wait till about 12 am to peal the henna out. Then, I had my henna done, it was just simple henna, to my PTE friends, you’ll see it on Monday. To all my net friends or whoever who knows me, I’ll post the pictures later in the week or month. So while waiting for the henna to be absorbed into my skin, I was just sitting anywhere that I can sit and snooze or just watch my relatives karaoke, playing lotto, entering PS2 Winning Eleven Tournament or just preparing gifts or souvenirs. Well, that’s it then I peal my henna and it looks okay. Then we got back home. =)
28th June 2008
Today, I also was woken very early at about 7 am, so I came to my aunt’s house, had lunch there then help out with the Bunga Telur preparations, and also I was in charge of picking songs for the so known as “Disco Night”, and I had to go through at about 10 disc, so it’s very tiring, then after that I pretty much got some time off for my self and read books and magazine, and I actually accidentally slept at the wedding’s bedroom right on the bed, with all the decorations and stuff, can’t blame me, because I haven’t had many delicious sleeps. Then at about 5 pm, the caterers came and set up the tables for the night’s “Majlis BerInai” and I saw this Indon who actually looked like my siblings’ teacher, haha.
Then when my parents came back from the IGS College, they were setting up the hall and get ready for tomorrow’s wedding reception, we went back to our house with a detour to Seri Lambak Complex to buy an outfit for tomorrow’s event, well the stupid tailor didn’t actually bother to tell us that she can’t do my outfit that on the last minute she told us that the outfit hasn’t finished, so my mum was devastated and we had to buy a ready-made outfit, busy much. The baju kebaya was OK, it is a little too sexy for me, and I can’t wear tudung for this outfit because it is too revealing, it is made of organza and I had to wear only a tube top, and although the skirt is OK, it is made up of batik but at the bottom of the skirt also are made with triangles of organza and you could see my legs clearly. After that, I went home and shower and wore my baju kurung without tudung, I’m sorry by, but that was just a casual event, so I didn’t bother to use make-ups or tudung. Well, tonight was a lot of laugh, because we had a dance competition, I didn’t join it because I can't even dance. Uncle Uzaiman was funny with his weird dance move, by the end of the dancing session he was exhausted. But then the winner was my Uncle O’ol, he won a mobile phone, brand Motorola. I was jealous, I mean you dance and you’ll get a chance to win a mobile phone? Oh yeah. I am so jealous of you, Uncle O’ol. Haha, so after that, I went upstairs to get henna for my toe nails. Then my mom asked me too change into my outfit that I bought before, and I feel weird wearing it. So then, uh, I can’t remember what I did after that so hah! Oh yeah, I went to the hotel staying there for a night only.
29th June 2008
I woke up at about 8 am with a big jolt, because this is the big day, and I had to go back to my aunt’s house for the I don’t know what is it called but 4 of us had to go to each corner of the bathroom holding a lit candle while my aunt is bathed. So after that, we went back to the hotel and get dressed, it took me 20 minutes to get dressed because I had to pin my tube top to my bra, and its hard though so I need help with my mother to get it pinned, I used 10 pins to attach the tube top to my bra and also to tighten it up so that it wouldn’t fall down because all the male homo sapiens would be lucky to see that. F.Y.I, the whole outfit cost of about $100, the baju kebaya was $60 and the bra which was bought this morning, actually cost $40, just 1 bra cost a freaking $40? So anyways, I put on my bun, my make-ups and also my great smile, haha. Vain much. Then I went downstairs to the basement with my family and drive down to IGS Kiulap, which is like 3 minutes away?
Then I went straight to the reception area because that’s where the souvenir-giving place for half an hour, after that I had to run some errands, go and usher the VIP guests to the conference room or to go the bride’s room to check up on the bride, as I am the bridesmaid. Oh yeah, FYI, the VVVIP guests were Nenek Tua Salleh Abd Rahman or so known as Nenek Tua Duraman and his wife a.k.a Paduka Seri P.A.I.P.A Sarah’s parents. So, I had to eat earlier in the bride’s room than the guests because I don’t think I’ll have time to eat when the guests do. So the Doa commence and all the guests eats after that, while I went here and there to make sure everything’s okay and also to run errands. Okay, after that my grand-uncles signalled us to go to the platformed stage, so off we go while waiting for the bridegroom; I had to fan myself and the bride because it was so hot there with the lights on.
I actually was surprised, because there was no indications that the groom has arrived so I was blurred when the groom when to the stage. So then I do my thing, smiled for the camera and impress everyone with my cute poses, NOT. Well, I’ll just highlight the climax; many people teased the bride and the groom and me. Because there I was and someone jokingly asked which one was the bride, haha, funny much not. Well after that we had photo sessions on the stage and then in the bride’s room where there’s portable wallpaper. Then we packed up and clean up, and then my uncles and I hang out for a while, my uncle Ra’in was online and he actually adds my boyfriend’s email so Nur Asnawi was online at the time, so I texted him saying that I missed him, so he was like who is this and it was very funny that a guy’s email wrote that. He realised that it’s me when I told him it’s me. Haha. By, love u.
Then, we just fooled around in IGS at the same time we clean it. Oh man, I’m too lazy to type in more, let’s just say I had fun, I was the one who gives out presents for the lucky draw, and I was teased of being an Indonesian during the day and an Indian during the night (Ambil-ambilan). Took lots of picture with them but then who cares, I went home at 2 am and that’s the reason why I was absent on the first day of school’s third term; extreme exhaustion.
